This article gives us a glimpse of the condition of streets of Pune as they are putting out their efforts in Anti-spitting campaign. In order to rage a fight against random spitters they have formed a committee of 25 members which is led by a Sanitary inspector. This committee had a strict and simple rule : The offender had to pay a fine and to clean the untidied place.

If we start appreciating and valuing this silent workers who put out their precious time for the betterment of the society then they will feel encouraged and motivated. The way local corporations are coming up for this cause has not only helped us in reducing the number of offenders but they have also created a sense of awareness. “Now if a person has to spit he/she has to think twice”.
