A lot of us spend a lot of our time in cars. Driving for work, meeting friends, dropping kids, and just a whole bunch of other errands we have to run. In a rush, we sometimes don’t see the dangers around us, and even if we do we ignore them. We should be responsible while driving and we should follow proper mannerisms because it can be extremely dangerous.
Some traffic etiquettes we should follow are:
· Always wear your seatbelt and always make sure your passengers wear too.
· Do not drink and drive.
· Do not drive if you are cognitively impaired in any way, for example, sleep-deprived.
· Use your signal lights.
· Drive within the speed limit. Drive cautiously around school zones.
· Keep proper distance between the vehicles around you. Avoid tailgating as it disturbs the other drivers because tailgating is very aggressive.
· Do not use your phone while driving.
· Do not use improper lanes.
These are some of the things we should be careful about so as to maintain harmony while driving and avoid accidents. Ensuring our safety is important but ensuring others' safety is also our responsibility. While we are making decisions we should be honest and make educated decisions.
